Jennie grew up in the mountains of Virginia, but after spending a day in Denver and Boulder, then driving through Estes Park on a road trip in college, she decided that Colorado was a place she wanted to call home.
Jennie runs Jennie Crate, Photographer and photographs intimate weddings for devoted and courageous people. She believes that there is beauty in being yourself--even if it makes other people uncomfortable.

Brooke is native to the Denver area, and absolutely loves living in Colorado! She loves exploring the state with her husband, Tom, and her three kids: a ten year old son, infant daughter, and furbaby black lab. She loves to travel with her family, and has traveled to several countries, and done some crazy things! Wrestling alligators, skydiving, and swimming with sharks have become somewhat normal, and she wouldn't have it any other way.
Brooke specializes in photographing women, especially boudoir and glamour, and has one of the top boudoir studios in Denver. She is passionate about working with women and reminding them that the sexy woman that they knew and love is still there - even when they are taking care of families, jobs and other responsibilities.

Heather was a Georgia girl all of her life, but found home when she moved to Colorado in 2014. A second generation photographer, Heather loves being the vivacious photographer for romantic, bold couples and enjoys documenting weddings with authenticity. After 10 years as a professional photographer, there isn’t much Heather hasn’t photographed, but weddings are her heart. She loves sharing her photographic knowledge with others, and believes that learning and improving in our craft should never stop.
Heather also has a love for any drink that comes in a copper mug, all things turquoise, a cup of hot tea, reading a good mystery novel, sitting on beaches, and singing karaoke.

Melanie's spent the last 20 years in Colorado Springs and wouldn't want to live anywhere else! She's grateful for her husband, daughter and new baby boy, and more than anything her relationship with Jesus. She was a former professional ballet dancer and has a passion for the arts and sharing beauty with the people around her.
Melanie and her husband Tyler started TMDexter Photography in 2013 and love photographing weddings as a husband/wife team. Melanie is so happy to be a part of the Colorado Springs Photo Betties and loves meeting and encouraging fellow female photographers!

As a new mom, Chelsea loves the flexibility that photography offers. She believes life is all about experiences! Aside from photography Chelsea is also a west coast swing dance instructor with her engineer (in the real world) husband. Before having their first born they managed to travel to 22 countries in two years teaching, competing and training on the international dance circuit. Getting to experience the world while sharing a passion with the one you love was an incredible experience she vows to never take for granted.
Chelsea is a detail oriented person who loves the little things in life. She focuses mainly on outdoor weddings but enjoys photographing engagements, couples and boudoir as well. Getting to capture raw passion, love, sweet kisses, tender moments, and the overall happiness that surrounds her clients are what drives her love for photography. Memories fade but emotion sealed in photographs will remain forever.

Originally from Wisconsin, the land of cheese, Mary moved out to Colorado at a very young age. She lives in Brighton, Colorado with her husband and two boys. She comes from a large family and is definitely at home in a crowd. When she's not chasing her boys around and needs a little quiet, Mary loves to go antiquing with her best friend. Mary and her husband have cruised the Caribbean multiple times and have bounced around to most of the United States.
Mary started her business in 2000 and specializes in wedding and engagement photography for casual couples that want timeless, unique images. She is a true believer in community over competition loves sharing her knowledge and assisting others in their journey.

Katie grew up in the Florida panhandle relocating here to Denver with her husband, Chris, and her daughter, Ana Gray (one name, two words) by way of Philadelphia. She shoots women- boudoir, maternity, trash-the-dress, and a new program she is mega passionate about- Empower Her Portraits- infusing everything she does with an ethereal, editorial flair.
Katie also does branding and logo design for photographers and other creatives in The Roaring Artist Design Shop and in her (nonexistent) spare time, she works on her mixed media jewelry line which can be found at Rakun in the Art District on Santa Fe and Art & Framing at Stapleton in the 29th Avenue Town Center as well as in her Etsy shop.
